Understanding who your customers really are is critical to developing an effective sales and marketing strategy. As part of a global marketing team, I worked to optimize a product portfolio of services based on developing a deep understanding of who our customers were, what was most important to them, and optimizing the portfolio and messaging to drive increased sales.

Product integration:

 
Acquiring a new company or product portfolio and integrating it into an existing sales organization can challenge an organization. I led the sales integration of a significant product portfolio into an established commercial organization, ensuring sustainable growth was achieved for the new portfolio without sacrificing the growth of the existing product portfolio.

Awareness Campaign:

 
Smaller companies without dedicated marketing may lack the knowledge and resources needed to create, maintain, and accurately measure a strategic marketing plan designed to attract new customers and build a sustainable pipeline. I assisted an organization that recognized the need to expand their presence in the market, leading to increased website traffic, inbound inquires, and a sustainable pipeline.

Our Story

I started Fox Valley Pharma Consultants in 2023 to help life science and biopharma supplier companies develop marketing and sales strategies based on developing a better understanding of their customers and of the markets they serve.

With over 30 years of experience marketing and selling to pharmaceutical and biopharma/biotech companies, I have witnessed first-hand the challenges of creating and executing marketing and sales plans directed towards these markets. Working in both large, multinational organizations and small, start-up companies trying to increase their market presence, I have developed an understanding of what does and does not work in creating and executing marketing and sales plans.

I held laboratory based and process development roles prior to moving into commercial roles in both marketing and sales. As a commercial leader, I have held positions in product and market management, and led regional and global sales and service organizations in both large and small organizations.
